In PROG-6481, we were planning to create a new Jira field to track which features were FCV-gated. This has not been implemented yet and after chatting with huayu.ouyang@mongodb.com, it sounds like this information is still valuable but I am wondering if we can search through the IDL files (similar to what we do for tracking config file changes each release.) I imagine this method would be more reliable since it doesn't depend on someone checking the right box at the right time. I'm not sure what the level of effort would be here and if it's worthwhile, but thought I'd propose it. |
