For more context, the ask here is to add server regression tests for the serverless restore procedure, like the ones we have in the enterprise module for regular backup and restore (e.g. this one) (peter.vertenten@mongodb.com, correct me if I'm wrong). adi.zaimi@mongodb.com and I talked about this, and since sharding isn't actually supported by serverless today we think this makes more sense for the server team responsible for serverless, which after the recent reorg I believe is service architecture, so moving this to their backlog. |
