The goal here is that if something passes a required patch build it will also fully pass the commit queue |

I would like to second this request. Specifically, lint_clang_format should be part of the "required" alias for patch builds, since it's probably the easiest wait for a commit to get kicked out of the queue. I also think there's another problem here: there are a limited number of people that are allowed to define what tasks are "required". |
