Once we're able to perform a PIT replica set restore, we should run some performance tests to gather some data about how fast the magic restore process is. In particular, we should get metrics around PIT oplog entry application: the throughput of reading oplog entry BSON stream serially, how fast the inserts into the oplog collection are taking, how fast replication recovery can be, etc. |
