 Description

Description: There have been reports of difficulties for Atlas users performing chunk operations (moveRange, moveChunk, splitChunk, etc.) on time series bucket collections. Authorization errors have arisen despite the operations reportedly being within the permissions of the [Atlas Admin role](<https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/security-add-mongodb-users/#built-in-roles>). Possible complications could arise from attempts to issue these commands on the system.bucket collection, particularly for time series collections.

Objective: Investigate the extent of the issue with chunk operations on timeseries bucket collections for Atlas users and identify if there are specific limitations or restrictions preventing successful operations.
