Despite many efficiency improvements that we have made in the past, index builds are still limited to only a single thread. Some users would prefer to use all of the CPUs they have available to make index builds complete sooner. Faster index builds will speed up data loading, data cloning, maintenance time for rolling index builds, and more. |
