The drivers won't need any changes for this. The option to enable FIPS mode does not mean that the server code is ready for FIPS certification; that is being tracked in SERVER-7648.

I see that this fix has been included in Mongo DB 2.4, but if we're using the Mongo API, do we need to wait until an updated version of the CSharp Driver is released?

On insert to the database with the CSharp Driver v1.7, we were seeing the type initialization exception because of the MD5 hash being rejected by the FIPS compliance setting in Local Security Policy.
