 Description

As part of the efforts to solve BF-30739 we needed to get access to a coredump from a test that failed via tassert. As a result we temporarily changed it to be an invariant. In discussion with the rest of the backlog-server-catalog-and-routing team it seems this is not the first case where we do so and there have been cases where having a core dump would've helped.

Some examples from other teams include:

  • BF-28463
  • BF-22261 which ended up having a similar issue to another BF that did have a core dump and proceeded to use it
