It is common to think that the Catalog Cache of a MongoD or MongoS represents the majority of the memory allocated by the process. However, we do not have a clear evaluation of the amount of memory actually required. The goal of this ticket is to provide an estimate of the memory allocated by the Catalog Cache as a function of the number of cached chunks. |
