 Description

As pointed out by mark, we should include snmp files in enterprise rpm's and deb's.

Roughly these locations (to be confirmed per supported platform):
/usr/share/doc/mongodb-10gen-enterprise/snmp.md
/usr/share/snmp/mibs/MONGO-MIB.txt
/etc/snmp/mongod.conf

With that config file split in mind, I'm going to install the sample configs as docs and not under /etc/snmp/.

I'm almost done with this change. I've tested my changes to the rpm and will test my .deb changes shortly.

That would make this issue a lot easier since the filenames could all be different between mongod.conf, mongod.conf.master and mongod.conf.subagent

Comment by Eric Milkie [ 22/Oct/13 ]

We're looking at splitting up mongod.conf into two files to support both running as a master and a sub-agent without getting warnings about unknown entries in the conf file. The ticket covering this is SERVER-11147
