In redhat, install the rpm and run: sudo service mongod start

In Redhat, starting mongod using the 'service' command outputs extra information. We should either take this out of the server or redirect output in our init script.

redirecting stderr/stdout to log or file is relevant for many OSs not just RHEL/centos/amazon linux
