I have installed MongoDB 2.4 On windows 64 bit with 16gb ram and 1 TeraByte Storage. I have a collection with 600 GB Size. This collection is fully read heavy and no writes. I created Indexes on Name and Address and City and Sate columns as separate indexes and compound index. I need to perform case insensitive and match searches. It is taking really long time. I tried with Full Text Index Also and No use. Can any one Help me out to how should i get good performance on reading. My searches always include name only and name and address or name and city like that |

Hi Srinivas, The SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion you should post on the mongodb-users group (http://groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user) or Stack Overflow / ServerFault. I can see you've already posted this on the mongodb-user group. Thanks, |
