Hi,

As Randolph mentioned, there are different ways to collect profiling information depending on what you are trying to tune. The MongoDB manual has references for using the database profiler or mongosniff. There is also a list of Monitoring Tools for MongoDB which can be useful in performance tuning.

The SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server.

For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-users group (http://groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user) or ask specific questions on Stack Overflow / ServerFault. I would encourage you to continue this discussion in a more appropriate forum.

Thanks,
Stephen

Is there any impact on database performance while using profiler or mongosniff?
The environment is Replication Set,what is a good idea to use profiler or mongoniff, on secondery node or on primary node?

You can check out either the profiler or mongosniff.
