We are seeing performance issues on a large mongo instance. Will eliminating the smallfiles option help improve performance. If so or if not, then why? |

Hi Albert, Changing smallfiles may have an impact but this will primarily depend on the reasons behind the performance impacts. Are these nodes in MMS, if so, can you please post the MMS url of one of the groups with some pointers about which nodes so I can look and see what may be causing the performance issues. Thanks, |
