            <title>[CDRIVER-501] Connection error only with 2.8 and WT Engne</title>

&lt;p&gt;C Client, Already have 1024 open connection, briefly opening another 1024&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Plenty of file handles - doesn&apos;t happen with MMAP engine (I know that makes no sense)&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;That looks like a timeout in socket_connect() to me.  Can you give me a little more information on how you&apos;re triggering that bug?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;version of the C driver you&apos;re using&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;OS&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;version of mongod (is it a release tag?  Or if master, can you point me at a sha?)&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Some more information about that code that&apos;s generating that error
	&lt;ul&gt;
		&lt;li&gt;source code that reproduces the error would be fantastic&lt;/li&gt;
		&lt;li&gt;more complete logs and a description of the application would also help&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;/ul&gt;
	&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Some context on what you&apos;re doing that triggers this against wired tiger and not mmapv1.  I suspect the server logs might be useful as well&lt;/li&gt;
