we&apos;ll probably change that though.&lt;/p&gt;

But underneath, the groupby command uses map-reduce, except that it doesn&apos;t work across shards.  Hence, I&apos;m wondering if supporting map-reduce is sufficient instead of supporting the groupby command.&lt;/p&gt;</comment>

It builds the map reduce functions for you.  It does not use the groupby command, but will always use map reduce.  Is this a satisfactory solution?&lt;/p&gt;</comment>
