[CSHARP-888] Longer times to return same data request from replica set

                <project id="10041" key="CSHARP">C# Driver</project>

There are instances when the same request for data from a replica set takes a lot longer than usual. The difference is from milliseconds to 20-50 seconds. Its is the same request, but at times takes a lot longer to fulfill. What would be some of the causes of this, memory, disk, network etc? Our replica set is on a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2. We have a primary, a secondary and an arbiter. Each have the same spec of server with 8GB of RAM.

Is their network contention during the slower write? Are there other things happening on the server? Are there writes going on at the same time? The only way to identify this information is to compare the logs from the fast request and the slow request from about 10 minutes before to 10 minutes after and see what else is going on.

Questions like this should generally be directed at the mongodb-user group.
</comment>
