&lt;p&gt;_LIBCPP_TYPE_VIS_ONLY - sets type_visibility(&quot;default&quot;)  - this could be useful for classes that have private members, but all public member functions are marked inline. We probably can punt on this one as it&apos;s clang only. We should consider revisiting this if gcc adds support for it.&apos;&lt;/p&gt;
