[GODRIVER-2009] What simple way for change used driver?

                <project id="14289" key="GODRIVER">Go Driver</project>

Hello, I with my team use old mongo driver github.com/globalsign/mgo and we want to change them to official driver go.mongodb.org/mongo-driver.

This drivers (ofcourse) have a different types, and we can’t use both of them. Maybe exists fork in github with adapter from old to new driver.

We cannot rewrite all requests, because it will take a month or more to work. (We really have large number of requests)

Thank you for help!

We don't have an adapter for the whole driver, but the mgocompat BSON library will handle BSON more like mgo does. While its a bit old, the migration guide is a good starting point for the differences between the two drivers.

Thanks for your interest in MongoDB's Go Driver. Since this isn't a bug or feature request we're closing the issue. I see that you've already posted on the community forum, but feel free to post any further questions there.
</comment>
