&lt;p&gt;Respectfully, this isn&apos;t something we plan to change.  Too much of our internal development and management processes revolve around Jira, so having a second ticket queue to manage isn&apos;t the best use of our engineers&apos; time.  We&apos;ve added the mongodb-go-driver mailing list for ad hoc questions not rising to the level of a ticket and to lower the barrier for people who need quick answers without creating a Jira account.  And of course, if it seems necessary, any issues raised there that need a ticket, we&apos;ll gladly file on someone&apos;s behalf.&lt;/p&gt;
