[JAVA-2331] How much size of large files will be store in MongoDB using GridFS?

                <project id="10006" key="JAVA">Java Driver</project>

I want to upload 1GB file using GridFS. If I uploaded, where the file is stored?
is it store in MongoDB or other location?

Can I use mongodb for DMS (Document Management System) application.
If so, where all the documents/files will store. How will maintain versions of document/file. (i.e version update). Please suggest me on this.

Note: In DMS application we can upload > 100GB data

While GridFS can be used as a building block for a DMS, and does have limited support for multiple file versions, it is not a full-featured DMS in its own right.
