It's badly in need of some TLC. 10gen hiring Scott has basically been the death of Morphia. At the very least it would be great to add a new maintainer to the project. James Green ended up forking Morphia (https://github.com/jmkgreen/morphia) because the original was so neglected. Can we add him as a maintainer to the original? Having to switch to forks is very fracturing to the community.
</comment>

I added an issue to the Morphia bug tracker: http://code.google.com/p/morphia/issues/detail?id=450
