CLOUDP-226208 proposes the addition of query shape telemetry to Atlas/CM users so they can monitor the performance of their top N query shapes over time. The project aims to provide one minute metrics resolution.

There is a current hypothesis that running $querystats nonredacted will have less of a performance on the server, as much of the impact of $querystats is due to the redaction. The purpose of this ticket is to measure how often cloud InTel can run nonredacted $querystats while ensuring acceptable ranges of impact to server performance.
