We introduce the concept of "Public View Definition" shown in db.getCollectionInfos() but we do not explain what the concept of the Public View Definition is.
For example, joshua.wickman has seen that there is a system collection created in a db with views, but presumably the idea is that this is an internal type of view and should not be relied on, whereas the "Public View Definition" is presumably the canonical way to read what views have been created with which corresponding details.
