In the installation section of the new BI Connector 2.2 the following note is presented:

NOTE
The above examples demonstrate using MongoDB Connector for BI with a MongoDB instance running without authentication enabled. To use mongosqld with the --auth option, see Install the C Authentication Plugin.

However, it is the first thing in the section and there are no explicit commands above. I believe it is related to "2. Generate your schema definition file" so it should be placed there.
