Clarify the correct steps to remove a custom role in Ops/Cloud Manager

      Hi Team,

We have seen some questions around the correct procedure for removing/deleting a custom defined role in Ops Manager. The current process (described here) is described as follows:

      1. Click Deployment, then the Security tab, then Roles.
      2. Click Delete next to the role.
      3. To confirm, click Delete Role.
      4. Click Review & Deploy to review your changes.
      5. Review and approve your changes.

However the 'delete' button is only present for roles that are not 'synced'. As we Automatically set the sync button to "yes" for all new custom defined roles the process is slightly different to what is described above.

      1. Click Deployment, then the Security tab, then Roles.
      2. Switch the sync button next to the role to "no".
      3. To confirm, click Unsync.
      4. Click Review & Deploy to review your changes.
      5. Review and approve your changes.

Also, this will not automatically delete the custom defined roles from the managed mongod processes, in order to do this the customer needs to set "Enforce Consistent Set" to yes, following the same process as deleting a custom defined user described here.

I understand the difference is minor however it is causing some confusion for our customers. The behaviour appears to be the same with Cloud Manager so the cloud docs here would also need to be adjusted.

      Thanks!
      Barry!
