Unable to install MongoDB Compass version 1.11.1 (stable)

      I'm trying to install MongoDB Compass 1.11.1 (stable) from this link: https://www.mongodb.com/download-center?jmp=nav#compass

      After I clicked download, it downloaded a file in rpm that looks like "mongodb-compass-1.11.1.x86_64.rpm" .

      I'm supposed to be getting a standard .exe or .msi installer but instead I got that rpm file.

      Any suggestions on what to do?
