If the Monitoring/Backup Agents are managed by Automation, users can change the log directory for the Monitoring/Backup Agents from the OM/CM UI:
– Go to the "Deployment => Agents => Downloads & Settings" page.
– Update the log directory in the "Agent Log Settings" section.
It would be nice to mention this to the OM/CM docs. Also note that the "Agent Log Settings" section is not showing up by default. It'll show up only when the Automation Agent is running in the OM/CM group and the Monitoring/Backup Agents are managed by Automation.
