I've got a customer running successfully on NVMe asking if they should implement RAID on top. Nothing in the common recommendations (for Consulting Reports) about RAID but the prod notes say RAID-10.
With limited budget is it better to RAID-10 and have fewer machines, or go un-RAIDed and add shards? Not sure if this is different if NVMe is used.
