      Description

      Description

This change removes support for SLES11 across the board. Production notes and list of supported platforms need to reflect that.

Scope of changes (files that need work and how much)

      • production notes
      • source/includes/fact-platform-x86_64.rst (used in install page table)
      • source/includes/fact-platform-s390x.rst (used in install page table)
      • /tutorial/install-mongodb-enterprise-on-suse
      • /tutorial/install-mongodb-on-suse

Impact to other docs outside of this product

      • Created DOCSP-2213 for cloud mgr
      • Need to check if bi connector is also dropping support for the EOL platforms (DOCSP-2217)
      • For existing tutorials, would have to republish, but since guides ...

MVP (work and date?) – for manual only

      • Need to update for 3.6 and backport for 3.4.15 and 3.2.20 and add lack of support for 4.0 as well

      Engineering Ticket Description:

We are removing SLES11 support from the next stable release. This is a ticket to stop our current builds and testing on this platform.

We recommend SLES11 users to plan upgrading to SLES12 at their earliest convenience.
