Description
The most common failure point for Ubuntu installation appears to be issues around adding the GPG key. Whether they are transient network errors, issues with the keyserver, or some other issue, the lack of GPG key results in various errors down the line.
ToDo:
- Add new validation step to check whether the GPG key was added successfully, with strong language about requiring that keyfile
- Backport to 4.0
Next Steps:
- Backport to 3.4
