Instructions for disabling transparent huge pages (THP) currently use init.d. In RHEL 7, init. is deprecated. See https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/converting-traditional-sysv-init-scripts-red-hat-enterprise-linux-7-systemd-unit-files
The instructions for disabling THP should be changed to use native systemd.
