Hi All,

It looks like the FAQ sharding section "Can I change the shard key after sharding a collection" needs to be updated with the release of 4.2 per "Change a Document’s Shard Key Value", specifically noting:

Starting in MongoDB 4.2, you can update a document’s shard key value unless the shard key field is the immutable _id field.

You could start the text with something like:

No, when you are using MongoDB 4.0 or earlier. Yes, if you are using MongoDB 4.2 and the shard key is not the immutable _id field.
