Description

The MacOS install instructions currently suggest that XCode (a weighty multi-GB download) is required: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-os-x/#install-xcode.

Brew only requires the Command Line Tools for XCode (a few hundred MB): https://docs.brew.sh/Installation#macos-requirements.

Command Line Tools (CLT) for Xcode: xcode-select --install, developer.apple.com/downloads or Xcode
