Starting from version 6.1.0 auto-splitting does not happen anymore.
This ticket is to remove all references to automatic chunk splitting from the documentation. Those are some pages that should be changed, but I am quite sure there are other references:
- Mark sh.enableAutoSplit as deprecated (and specify this is a no-op starting from 6.1.0)
- Mark sh.enableAutoSplit as deprecated (and specify this is a no-op starting from 6.1.0)
- Remove autosplit flag references from config.settings
- Remove references to auto-split in the page "Split chunks in sharded cluster" (also balancing info from this page need to be changed ->
DOCS-15340)
I guess it will be needed to check all the occurrences of the word split in the documentation to be sure not to leave any incorrect info.
