Hello Team,

This is a suggestion for improving our documentation for disabling backup compliance policy in Atlas. There is an internal KB article https://kb.corp.mongodb.com/article/000021061  which we follow to disable backup policy, not sure why this procedure is not exposed to the customer. Anyway we tell the customers with all the steps we follow when they open the case to us.

Suggestions:

• It would be great to include the steps we take for disabling in the documentation, so that the customers are already aware about the extensive verification procedure they had to follow.
• KB can be made public to customer after making some modifications.
• Include the time taken for disabling after opening support ticket.

Why it would be good to include the above procedure ?

• Customers wont get frustrated in following the procedure as they are already aware of the steps they need to take in disabling the policy as per the doc.
• Customers are aware that they have to wait for long time like 72 hours for this to be done.
