Misleading statement: "syncdelay has no effect on the journal files or journaling."

    • 0.25

The syncdelay option in the docs says:
"syncdelay has no effect on the journal files or journaling."
When "syncdelay" is set to zero (docs correctly recommend not to do this) journaling slowly consumes the entire disk. This is definitely an effect on journaling of setting syncdelay. The --nojournal option is needed when setting syncdelay to zero.

Journaling docs should perhaps mention this oddity too.
