There is a value that is set in the "Type" column of the "Hosts" page that says, "no data"
In the past there has been some confusion about what this means. Can you add the following rules to the documentation?
no data
This does not mean your server does not have data. It indicates that MMS has not received any data from the monitoring agent for this host.
Possible Causes
- The agent is unable to connect to your server because of firewall/proxy/routing issues.
- If authentication is enabled on your db, it must also either be set globally in the settings.py file or on a host by host basis in on the "Hosts" page by clicking the edit/pencil dialog to the right of the hostname.
