We recently changed the names of the various packages to install with on various distros. Our pages for each of the package managaers mentions these changes but not if the user needs to take any special steps (uninstalling/reinstalling), etc.

We should include some details on the upgrade pages about this:

• Are there any impacts to end users?
• Are there any special steps which need to be taken for this upgrade?
• Does having a 2.4 repository version change the install process?
• Are there any potential conflicts between old and new packages?
• Can i just upgrade as normal and everything will "just work"?
