We provide an option to allow end users to set their own password under 2.6. We have a tutorial which specifies how to alter ones own data using this permission, but it "hand waves" over the setup, simply stating that one needs that permission.
We should provide the setup steps in the tutorial with examples that users can copy/alter. This is the most complicated part of the setup and the part which would cause end users to have the most problems.
