The doc page for $natural operator, http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/operator/meta/natural/, mentions that "The $natural operator uses the following syntax to return documents in the order they exist on disk".

This is not true for sharded collections.

$natural returns an ordered collection scan. It's not clear the if this result is the same as disk location.
