The MMS backup agent documentation [the "Update " instructions (Settings -> Backup Agent -> Ubuntu -> Update)] for updating from a old agent (1.6.1) to the latest (2.2.2) does not provide guidance where a purge from the package manager may be necessary. Is it possible to add a third option to these pages "Troubleshooting" which deals per platform with the common cases such as completely removing all traces of the agent and recommending a fresh install rather than update ?
