Description
Documentation Changes
We state that MongoDB always looks in C:\data\db by default. This may be incorrect if MongoDB is installed on another drive letter.
Description
"On Windows, MongoDB stores data in C:\data\db"
False in my case
It seems that MongoDB expects \data\db to exist in the unit it is installed: my mongoDB lives in "Z:\dev\mongodb26" and it was until I created "Z:\data\db" that it could start properly.
