Release notes do not clearly state that support for Windows XP & 2003 has been dropped and that the minimum supported version is now 2008. although http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/installation/ seems to have been updated. The downloads page as well should reflect what the minimum supported platforms are.

Furthermore, they need to clearly state that 32-bit platforms have been dropped as well from a support perspective (but that builds should still be available for download to test.)
