      https://docs.opsmanager.mongodb.com/current/tutorial/upgrade-on-prem-with-rpm-packages/#upgrade-the-backup-daemon

In the steps to upgrade the Ops Manager Backup Daemon using rpm or deb packages, there should be a command to install the new backup daemon package just after it has been downloaded, either as part of Step 2 just after curl -OL <link-address-for-backup-rpm>, or as a new Step 3.
      The commands are (please confirm):

      rpm:

      sudo rpm -U mongodb-mms-backup-daemon-<version>.x86_64.rpm

      deb:

      sudo dpkg -i mongodb-mms-backup-daemon_<version>_x86_64.deb
