The documentation says that the Monitoring Agent connects to cloud.mongodb.com. The Monitoring Agent actually connects to api-agents.mongodb.com. The above is also true for the Automation Agent. The Backup Agent still connects to api-backup.mongodb.com – the docs are correct in this case.
