    Description

      https://docs.opsmanager.mongodb.com/current/tutorial/backup-the-backup-service/

You can perform a full backup of all snapshots contained in Ops Manager, as well as the point-in-time restores that Backup stores by shutting down Ops Manager and all of the hosts monitored and backed up by Ops Manager, and then backing up their file systems while they’re offline.

I'm not sure why you need to shut down the hosts monitored and backed up by Ops Manager (i.e. your production install). I could see requiring to shut down the Application DB or Blockstore DB, but we do support snapshot backups on a running mongod as well.
