The 2dsphere docs page currently makes no reference to the new version 3 of the indexes.

The new version is currently only mentioned in the 3.2 release notes for geospatial optimization and 2dsphere index compatibility.

It would also be worth explicitly reiterating that this version of the index remains sparse.
