    Description

      It would be helpful to include a summary of the key changes between 2.2.x point releases on the main release notes page (http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/release-notes/2.2/).

      For example, summaries as per the individual release notes in mongodb-announce:

      Notable changes in MongoDB 2.2.1:

      • Fixed several batched oplog application issues required for db level locking
      • Fixed authentication in mixed version environments

      Notable changes in MongoDB 2.2.2:

      • Fix for upgrading replica set secondaries to 2.2.1 from a prior version of MongoDB
      • Improved performance and reliability flushing to data files for Windows users on Azure
      • The top command was recording commands as queries
      • Add a top level option in replica sets to disable chaining
