Description
The installation instructions initially say, "The Debian package management tools (i.e. dpkg and apt) ensure package consistency and authenticity by requiring that distributors sign packages with GPG keys."
Then step 1 says, "The **Ubuntu** package management tools (i.e. dpkg and apt) ensure package consistency..." [my emphasis]
Step 1 then goes on to specify an apt-key command using ubuntu.com
I do not know whether this is intentional or whether Ubuntu and Debian are being mixed up – I am not an expert in package management and simply wished to try out MongoDB on Debian, having had no problems installing software such as Node and Go.
